From Per Gunnar's debut in '96,
he has just been lapped by that years champion Ronny
Løchen Larsen, in the background is the '95 champion
Simen Tvete. Simen has also been lapped, not because
he was going slowly, he had a big excursion off the
track.
From Jan Tore's debut in '98, he is leading Per
Gunnar and an unidentified driver.

Results Per Gunnar won his first
and so far only race in the Yamaha Senior class, at
Gol in August .
He claims he did it in convincing
style even though he had to start the first heat from
the back of the grid, and had an excursion off the
track in the second heat. The advantage of home track
at this race was probably the major factor in this
win, along with the knowledge that nothing less would
do.
His best result in the Yamaha class
is a 10th place in the Norwegian Cup race at Klepp in
'96.
Jan Tore has raced
once in the senior class in '99, and the team's
streak of wins continues. J

The '99
season The '99 season will
mainly see an effort in the Yamaha Senior class.
The class is moving forward with
more drivers coming into it, and the year should see
fields of over twenty karts and tightening
competition.
Running 20 kilograms heavier than
the ordinary Yamaha class, the extra load suits the
Vega XLL tires well, giving the class a small
advantage that helps compensate for some of the extra
weight, particularly on cold days. Lap times are
slower, but not embarrassingly so.
